HA Ultra & HA Pineapple FAQ

What is this?

A dietary supplement: ultra-high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate) mixed into pineapple juice. Ultra is the daily squeeze gel. Pineapple is the same idea at half the HA, built to cut with sparkling water.

How much HA is in a serving?

Ultra: 90 mg per tablespoon (15 mL).
Pineapple: 135 mg per 1.5 oz when that label is locked.
Daily value is not established.

How do I take Ultra?

1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoon daily (some people use 1½ tablespoons as daily dose for joint comfort). You can swish inside of mouth for 60 seconds, then swallow. Same time each day. Give it 1–2 weeks.

How do I take Pineapple?

1-3 oz neat or in sparkling water. Don’t treat it as a shot of Ultra.

Fridge?

Refrigerate after opening. Use within 30 days. Keep out of reach of children.

Why pineapple?

So you’ll take it. Pineapple is the acid that helps the preservative work. We don’t add citric acid or extra vitamin C to the HA bottles.

Will it upset my stomach?

Hyaluronic acid properly formulated and blended is very east to tolerate, provided the stomach feel of a slightly viscous supplement can be tolerated. Try taking 20 minutes before breakfast OR when you first wakeup, that should make it very easy to tolerate. You can also hold in your mouth for 30-60 seconds as some of the HA will absorb in your mouth tissue providing hydration to your gums, tissues and lips while lessening the amount needing absorption in your digestive tract. 

Where does the HA come from?

Microbial fermentation. Lots tested, food grade certified.

Is it the same as rooster comb?

No. This is fermented sodium hyaluronate, not animal comb.

Is bigger molecular weight “better”?

Higher MW is thicker and is the form we want for joints, skin and oral health.  We test lots. 

Can I put it in coffee / alcohol / a smoothie?

You can. Heat and hard liquor aren’t a kindness to a long chain. Breakfast or a cold mixer is the default.

Can I take it with Quinine Citrus Tonic?

Yes. Different bottle, different job. Don’t pour them into one formula.

Is this a medicine?
