Quinine Citrus Tonic — FAQ

What is QCT?

A quinine citrus tonic — cinchona infusion with grapefruit, honey, a touch of stevia, citrus oil, and vitamin C. Mix it with sparkling water. It is a dietary supplement, not a mixer-only novelty and not a drug.

How do I drink it?

1-3 oz daily in a glass of sparkling water. Neat is fine if you like it that way. Afternoon is the usual slot in cold sparkling water. Shake the bottle; things settle. Begin taking slowly for first week or two as detoxification may take place. This is a high Vitamin C drink, sip slowly, increase dose over time if desired.

How much vitamin C?

1500 mg per 1.5 oz serving (check the Supplement Facts on the bottle for % DV). That’s the antioxidant line. Don’t stack three pours to “mega-dose.”

Why quinine / cinchona?

Classic cinchona officialnalus tonic bark from Peru and Ecuador.

Fridge?

Yes after opening. Keep it cold. Use on a kitchen timeline, not a pantry year. Keep out of reach of children.

Does it have HA in it?

No. QCT and HA Ultra are separate formulas. You can take both in a day. Don’t pour them into one jug.

Why does it look cloudy or separate?

That’s the infusion and the juice. Shake.

Where does the C come from?

Ascorbic acid, food grade, on the Facts panel.

Is the quinine pharmaceutical HCQ?

No. This is a cinchona tonic, not a prescription drug.

Who should ask a clinician first?

Anyone pregnant, on medicines that interact with quinine, G6PD, or told to limit tonic bitters. This is not medical advice.

Is this a medicine?

No. Antioxidant support with classic quinine tonic.
